Club Description
Hello! Welcome to The Book Battalion reading club. We're a battalion that meets weekly to take a dive into whichever book we're currently lost in. We meet and discuss our favourite characters, what they're doing, make predictions and so much more! So join us and let your inner bookworms out! It's always Happy Reading with us :)
Club Rules
A few rules: All readers must read for at least 20 minutes or 15 pages every day. All readers must input their daily reading log into the ReadBetter app. You will find the app on the Google Play Store or the Apple Store. Parents/Guardians are requested to have a 5minute conversation with the reader about their daily reading activity. Suggested topics for the parent-child conversation are - What did you read today? Tell me about the story? Ask questions about the characters? What did you like most about the story so far? How many pages did you read?. For all readers below age 12, we request the parent to update the reading log in the app on a nightly basis. When updating the reading log, do it along with the child. If you have any questions, you can always message your reading coach (that's me!) from the club home page. (Psst....."they" made me make these...but don't worry it won't spoil any of the fun!)
