Grades 5-8 From matching and multiple choice activities, riddles, and puzzles, these activities present and review basic algebra concepts and reasoning skills. Number sense concepts included are integer operations, place value, and properties presented in Venn diagrams, magic squares, and puzzles which involve knowing the answer and having to determine the problem. In addition, algebraic expressions are evaluated, compared, and simplified, and statements and problems are translated into equations, function-notation, and inequalities. Multiplying binomials, factoring trinomials, and the difference of two squares are also presented. Based on the NCTM Standards. Reproducible. 32pp.
